Hi Again I am back with new set of words that I came across this week, let me know the the new words that you have come across and would like to share with our beez family in comment section or at or Facebook or Instagram pages


1.Resemblance

When you find someone or something that looks like each other or similar looking you can use this word

Like in Family, when Father and son looks alike and have same appearance they resembles

You can use it this way 1. She resemble her mother.
2. When you look closely his eyes resembles his grandpas eye
3. So many houses in this city resembles each other

2. Dab
This one has different meanings
- It simply means to pat
Like pressing something lightly several times
- fingerprint are also called dabs
- A small/little amount of something

You can use it this way
1. Teachers gave students dabbing activity at the school today (here it means playing sponge game with sponge and paint like dipping sponge in paint and then dabbing it around the paper)
2. The investigator are looking for some dabs to find the thief (here it means fingerprints )
3. She dabbed is face with the makeup
4. She took a dab of chocolate from the whole cake (here it means a little amount)

3. Starving
Now this one has different meaning
A) When you are dying of hungry and you don't have enough food you can use this word
B) very hungry
C) when there is extreme cold You can use it this way

You can use it this way
1. She was starving at midnight and wanted to order food
2. They helped the starving dogs on the road and got them rescued
3. Get the heater on, I am starving

4. Absurd
When you find something unreasonable illogical or inappropriate you can use this word.

You can use it this way
1. When i saw the news it was absurd and inappropriate
2. They were still fighting like kids on that absurd topic
3. She often says absurd things
4. The concept of that drama was absurd

5. Efforts
A determined attempt to achieve something
When a lot of hard work is put in to achieve something is called efforts

You can use it this way
1. He thanked all his professors for the effort they put in him
2. This time she has put in real efforts to achieve good score
3. It took a lot of efforts to cook such a delicious dinner
