When some says you are in queue that simply means you are in line (aap katar/line mee hai) (you are in line)
And when someone say stand in a queue means

Stand in one line (one after other)
You can use it this way
1. There was a long queue at the ticket counter.

2. They said we have to wait for our turn, there is a long queue.

3. We have to stand in the queue for our turn.

2 Excellence
When you find someone outstanding and extremely good
you can use this word.

You can use it this way
1 . Due to his hard word he is going to receive an award of excellence.

2. They are Known for there excellence in gardening.

3. His excellence in sports got him scholarship

3 Invoke
Now this one has different meanings
a) Call For help
(call on something or someone especially God for help)
b) When you emotionally ask for something from somebody
c) Appeal to someone or something as an authority for an action

When you see something or someone very fashionable or up to date you can say that is very trendy
something that is fashionable, in fashion and stylish.

5 Dozen
In simple words a group or set of twelve and half a dozen means six

You can use it this way

1. We need a dozen puffs for the party
